Still can feel you kiss me love

Still can see your eyes like diamonds, diamonds
Memories are strong enough
To come on and drive me wild
Come on and drive me wild

ASHLEY, COMMANDING OFFICER.
Well, another deployment goal is crossed off the list. I took the GRE today, or as I have renamed it, "Giant Retarded Exam." You may say, "Well the GRE is a wonderful indicator of how well you did in your undergraduate studies. It really shows graduate schools your level of intellect." Well, screw you. The GRE has absolutely NOTHING to do with my field of study. Nothing, nada dern thing. As a matter of fact, unless you were an english or math major, I don't see how it has anything to do with ANY field of study. Now, give me an exam with medical math and nursing scenarios, and I'll show you a winning ticket. With that said, I had to score at least a 1000 on the exam to submit my score to any graduate school that asks for it. This was my dry run. If I score less than 1000, I'll take a stupid class or something. I should know my results sometime later this month. Pray I get 1000, I don't really wish to waste another 4 hours of my life.

For those wondering: I won't be applying for graduate school until Tomato gets back from this never ending deployment. I've been looking at continuing my education at USC (University of South Carolina), MUSC, Vanderbilt or Georgetown University. The latter two are KILLER expensive, the first and third require a GRE and the second "takes its own first" (or so I'm often reminded). Whatever. I'll get into one of them. Graduating Cum Laude from a competitive program has to count for something. Also, to answer your question...yes...they are all online.

In other news...there's really no other news. Haha.

TOMATO, THE HUBS.
I miss his face. I seriously can't wait until he comes home.

ZERO, THE DRAGON.
Is being SUCH a cuddle bug recently. I barely know what to do with myself.

The Dictionary of Ashley

Legit (adj.): shortened version of the word legitimate. Basically, something that can be justified as awesome. (I use a lot of words that are synonymous with awesome.)

Example:
Me: "Your pet falcon is legit!"
