"Why are you so far away?" she said

"Oh, won't you ever know, that I'm in love with you.
That I'm in love with you."

ASHLEY, COMMANDING OFFICER.
...is quite possibly the angriest she's ever been in her life.

I don't like having my emotions played with, and that is exactly what is happening. Tomato isn't doing it, so no worries there. I mean, I guess a lot of this came with the territory and a lot of this is "what I married into, blah, blah." I know I'm being vague and ambiguous. More of it will come to light in the next few day/weeks as this all comes to a head. I've just been sitting back...worrying, planning, crying, throwing things, crying some more, being angry, stressing and waiting...not so patiently, for every piece of information I can grasp or pull out of a conversation.

I just hate the feeling of "not knowing." I HATE it.

In other news, Nikki P., a friend of mine from college came to visit this weekend.

Saturday:
I did a pin-up shoot, early afternoon. After that we went to Wilmington and ate at The Front Street Brewery and had cupcakes at The Hot Pink Cake Stand. It was windy but pretty enjoyable. Saturday night we had an epic storm roll through. You probably know the one, it spawned hundreds of tornadoes and killed dozens of people. Yeah, that one. It knocked our power our for about 4-5 hours. We were lucky though. Another part of base was actually hit by a tornado that destroyed a few houses and businesses, injuring some. I'm so thankful that we were all okay.

Sunday:
We went to the beach for a couple of hours and I got fried crispy. I forgot my sunscreen. :( I know, I know...melanoma. Yeah. Then we went to the movies and saw "Your Highness" and it was pretty stupid. We went out to dinner afterward and then came back to the house and watched a couple of movies.

All in all, a good weekend.

TOMATO, THE HUBS.
...is still gone. Still gone. Can't he just be home?

ZERO, THE DRAGON.
...is being dragonly. He thoroughly enjoyed Nikki's visit. He loves snuggling new people. He loves snuggling in general.

Day 6
(a picture of the person you'd most like the trade places with for a day)
You may say, "he's not a person, he's a dog!" I would say, you are very wrong.
