Why do you build me up, buttercup baby?

Just to let me down and mess me around.
And then worst of all, you never call baby
When you say you will, but I love you still.

ASHLEY, COMMANDING OFFICER.
...had a part 2 interview at LMC today. I can't really say that I'm confident about how it went because my interview was at 0900 and I was out by 0910. I mean, it either went horribly...or awesomely. I'm going to hope for awesomely. I have another interview scheduled with PHR on Monday, but I'm really holding out for LMC. It would definitely be closer, but there are pros and cons to each establishment. The staff at LMC seemed pretty laid back as well. They laughed at my jokes anyway.

Ms. Linda and I went to Charlotte yesterday. We went to Ikea and then to SouthPark Mall. We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then I went shopping for some interview wear and ended up getting 3 dresses at Delia*s. They're pretty stinking cute. But I'm sure we don't care about that. It was good to get out of the house though. To take a trip for leisure for once. Recently it's been going back and forth from Columbia to Jacksonville and from Jacksonville to Columbia. Monotonous, yes.

I've been getting more and more settled, which is excellent. Things are starting to come along and it's been great spending time with family and friends. Lauren and I went to McCallister's the other day, which is not something you can get in NC. It was super tasty and awesome catching up with her.

TOMATO, THE HUBS.
...should be getting his first care package soon, that is, if I didn't pack something weird/illegal.
The next package is being sent out tomorrow. It's super cute, and I'll post pictures of it as soon as he receives it. I just don't want to ruin the surprise for him.

He's finally where he needs to be geographically and of course the "connectivity" we were promised in the beginning isn't going to happen. BUT, you learn to expect those types of things when dealing with the Department of Defense. You never believe something to be true until you actually see/hear/smell/taste/feel it with your own senses. Which of course, is going to be delayed 34083095 billion times before you get that opportunity.

However, Tomato is well...and that's what matters to me.

ZERO, THE DRAGON.
...is liking his new digs. He likes hanging out with the bullies. I feel bad for him though, because it's just been way too hot to play frisbee all the time. We only go out in the early morning or sunset. He's enjoying playing keep away though. I'm not sure how fair that is to the bulldogs.

30 DAY PHOTO CHALLENGE
Day 17
(something that has made a huge impact on your life recently)
Saying goodbye.
