Well, we're all in the mood for a melody

...and you've got us feelin' alright.

ASHLEY, COMMANDING OFFICER.
...has to go back to work tomorrow, and I am very bummed about this predicament. I would probably give my left leg to be a stay at home wife. It's bittersweet because I love what I do, but it's been such a long time since I've been this stress free. Alas, welcome to being a grown up. I guess.

I miss Sarah, Ryan and Colin. And Ms. Linda. And Lauren. Sigh...It's always weird not to have them here. I wish I could just put them all in a suitcase and smuggle them everywhere with me.

The cupcake? Turtle. It's beast.

TOMATO, THE HUBS.
...wants to make a career out of the Marines, which I figured. This means, that unless he gets a B-billet at a recruiting station in Columbia, I probably won't be going home any time soon, unless of course...it's without him. He promises that he will do everything in his power not to get Camp Lejeune again. I guess I could see myself living in CA, HI or VA if he can't get Columbia. What could be worse than here? I can see myself eating those words later. I just can't see being without him for years. It's blah....

ZERO, THE DRAGON.
...has been loving the great outdoors lately. It's been so beautiful outside, how could he not? Every time he goes outside he lays out there for AT LEAST 45 minutes before barking to come back in. When he comes back in he is covered in grass, of course.

Tomato and I have also been letting him roam the house when we're not home. He's been alone for up to 5 hours and hasn't destroyed anything. I don't know how I'll feel about letting him do a whole shift yet.

...anyway, I guess I'm going to try and chillax on my last night of freedom.
